Layered Wolf

I have purchased a pattern from Etsy. This is a layered project that my mother wants to give to someone for Christmas. If this pattern turns out, I will place it in my store when it opens.

Session 1

Looking at pattern.

I want to analyze the pattern to make sure there aren't any complications. I plan to use laminated wood.

Wolf Plan

I discovered that there are 9 layers. Need to decide on what size to make it. The material I plan on using is laminated wood. It is a little expensive. I am wondering if plain wood would work?

I have used 3/16" basswood for most of my layered projects. I did a 7 layer one once and the 3/16" made it too bulky. So, for the 7 layer I used 3mm wood.

I would use inexpensive painted wood for the first 8 layers and the laminated wood for the top layer. Personally, I wouldn't use expensive wood at all.

I don't see why you can't size it down. Just select all the layers at one time when you do.
