I hope to come up with some good setting for engraving tumblers. These will be for family and friends.

Session 2

Material Testing

Fine a good baseline for engraving an 18oz coated tumbler. 4" (101.5mm) H, 3-38" (66.675mm) W.

The maker has not added a Project Entry to this Project Session yet.

this from Hobby Guys library for the 10W. Sp 6.8mm/sec, Pwr 96%, .08 line int. If i've done tumblers on the Roly it's been awhile. Can't find any notes. for 30W try 20mm/sec, 70%, same LI .08 my Roly roller rotary works great.

I'm wondering is your tumbler made of aluminum or stainless steel? The colors you mention would only be achieved on clean Stainless steel. (pdr coat removed first) Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
